Starbucks’ connection with the high seas is explored in the design of this Collins Ave cafe situated among Miami Beach’s boutique hotels and the Miami Beach Boardwalk.

The calm, gradient of the ocean shines through in the design of the wood canopy that celebrates the double-height space. A hand-painted siren swims up towards the light at the water's surface, emphasizing the verticality of the main cafe area. The lush exterior of the patio is brought inside to bring life into the space through a terrarium topography of the coffee plantations and a map made of moss that highlights the world’s coffee-growing region.
