Local coffee culture and the revitalization of Miracle Mile, a shopping and restaurant destination, are infused in the design of this coffee shop in Coral Gables, FL.

It’s no secret that the Latin culture runs deep in Miami, as do the “ventanitas”, or walk-up windows where you can find locals savoring the small Cuban coffee fondly known as a “cafecito”. To celebrate the local coffee culture an enhanced outdoor experience was created through the brand’s twist on the walk-up window. The window provides a continuation of the coffee experience from inside the store to outside on the patio.

On the inside, the bar is highlighted through a warm wood-cladded opening that frames and emphasizes the craft of the baristas. A hand-painted mural tells the coffee story from harvest to roast and adds a softness to the cafe.
